Just some fun picts

A bow in her hair and a cell phone in her hand, what more could a girl need?

In case some of you were wondering, this is what little girls do all day,
dolls, dolls dolls!

Annie Boo really wants one of these!

Garden City Weekend

We had a free weekend in July that we were able to head back up to the beach. The girls had such a great time with Grammy and Granddaddy as always!

We interupted their dancing for a few pictures.

My parents gave these dresses to the girls for Christmas and as soon as I saw them all I could picture was photos of them barefoot on the beach. They would not cooperate. This was as good as it got! Oh well . . .

Grandmom Kursch

We had a couple visits with Grandmom Kursch this summer. One at our house and then one at Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Mike's where we celebrated her 92nd birthday. We all had such a good time being with her on such a special occasion. And it is always fun to see some of the Lancaster cousins!

The out takes

Harder than it looks

We dedicate this picture to Nancy who suggested that I take it because she liked the girls matching dresses. It was harder than it looks, however. I tried to get one of them standing but Anne kept charging me while saying "cheese". I would get them where I wanted them and then go to look through the lense and ahhh there was Anne in my face saying Cheese!

Home Again

Anne is such a little nut. She likes to get into little places. This is her favorite spot to sit wedged on a speaker between the tv stand and the toy box. We often find her in similar little spots, just her size I suppose.

Hazel Parker Playground is where I spent much of my youth. Playing on the playground, kickball etc. We had a little picnic there this weekend with Oma, who missed her girls after their week at the beach. She is defintely a dedicated Grandma getting on this merry-go-round thing!!

4th of July

This picture was actually taken on the 3rd of July after an early dinner at Marlin Quay. It was a breezy week!

Mary Kathryn Loved staying up late to watch the fireworks.
We couldn't have asked for a better view right on the steps of the beach house!

The Elliotts joined us on the 4th, Bowen was such a good sport!

Waccatee Zoo

Well I guess the Lancasters love the zoo, since this is the second zoo that we have been to this summer. This is a fun little zoo where you can feed the animals and get quite close to many of them. 2 Peacocks actually tried to get into the minivan before we had even had a chance to purchase our tickets!

Here is Gregg in his Safari shirt, ready to protect his girls!

Mary Kathryn was very brave and fed a lot of the animals

Thanks Grammy and Ant Helen for a fun week!

Garden City

We spent the week of the 4th of July at Carden City Beach with Gregg's family. We had a blast! There are not many beach photos as I am afraid of getting sand in the lense, but a great time was had by all!

A success story

Here is the before picture. All greased up and cute as she could be in her duck suit, but would she, could she enjoy the beach after our previous failed attempts . . .

YES!!! The answer is a resounding yes! Anne having fun in the sand and water, a miracle some may say! Now is this a Garden City phenomenon or can it happen again? . . . Only time will tell.
